Warranty

All goods carry a standard warranty offered under Canadian law; the hardware we sell is tested before we receive it. Please note warranty only covers a manufacturing defect, not a fault caused by incorrect use or assembly. Please check your order as soon as you receive it, if there is any concerns please contact us. Also, please keep the warranty and proof of purchase (i.e. receipt, email, etc.)

30 days for battery, engines and main boards.
Additional warranty is available in the product description.

Warranty not covered Under following conditions
1. Malfunction due to misuse
2. Malfunction caused by unauthorized modifications, disassembling, or repair.
3. Accidental damage or malfunction due to unsuitable storage
4. Unmatched warranty/proof of purchase and product
5. Surface damages
6. Disassembling parts unspecified by the manual.
7. Damage or malfunction caused by long rides in the rain or soaking in water

We maintain the right to withdraw or modify any of these conditions at any time.

What's included in my warranty?
Hoverboard at Hooverboard.com carry a 30 days warranty unless specified otherwise.

What about "No Reason" return Policy?
We do not accept "No reason" return! Like: "I don't like it finally”,” It is not like I thought”,” I thought it had more functions”.” Speed is not what I've wished" etc...  

Please note that unless the item you bought was DOA (dead on arrival), the product you bought will be subject to a 50% re-stocking fee. (We won't pay the ship back bill) We do not accept to change your model after we shipped. If you want to change to another model, you will be subject to a 30% re-stocking fee (we won't pay the ship back bill). Please read through the descriptions of the item to gain a thorough understanding of the item specifications, compatibility, price and shipping terms before placing an order. If you are uncertain about any terms, feel free to email us.

What is the repair item and exchange policy?
Repair and exchange is only applicable on defective units. For buyer who had used the hoverboard, we only can support repair service, For some big problem, we can only promise buyer that you will get a working hoverboard back but maybe you will get an equivalent model used or some part changed one.

For DOA (Dead on arrival) hoverboard, hooverboard.com will pay the ship back bill. If you are requesting for a refund, hooverboard.com will only refund with your payment total. We will not refund you the ship back fee to hoverboard.com. FIRST MONTH: Report the problem to fix, buyer need to pay ship back fee. AFTER 1 MONTH Buyer need to pay ship back fee. After you have reported the issue to us, please ship back and give us tracking number within 5 days. We only support and repair we sold out items, please don't ship us hoverboard you have bought esle where. We will destroy it.

Our warranty covers
Any technical problems. Our warranty covers only those defects which arise as a result of normal use of the product, and those not apply to any:
1. Improper or inadequate maintenance
2. Misusage and mishandling
3. Fire, flood and other will-of-god
4. Damaged by a wrong voltage use
5. Physical damage (for example, dropping the device on the floor or into water, broken screen, broken case, etc)
6. Unauthorized modification or alteration

What happend if the item received is defective or damaged?
If the item you receive is defective or damaged, you can request a replacement or a refund. Please check your items immediately upon delivery and inform us within 48Hrs. Replacements and refunds are accepted on merchandise within 5 days of receipt for items that HAVE NOT BEEN USED, LIKE NEW WITH NO COSMETIC OR TECHNICAL CHANGES. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

How do I make a return or exchange?
Simply include in your package, along with the defective unit, our warranty card for items, a note with the issue descritpion. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise in an appropriate box and send it back to us using a safe shipping method. PLEASE NOTE: Hooverboard.com does not assume return shipping costs.

What about ship back to us tax and duty?
Tax and import duty is not included for warranty.  We are not liable to any customs hold up or import tax at the receiving country. To avoid any problems, we highly recommend that buyers use registered mail service as per no need to pay tax (Buyers have had problems in the past with companies like EMS, TNT, FEDEX, DHL and UPS).
